Here are 4 keys to the New Jersey Devils defeating Coyotes and moving to 2-0-0

The New Jersey Devils got off to a good start to their 2023-24 season with a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings last night. They'll be right back at it tonight at the Prudential Center, with the Arizona Coyotes in town to play their first contest of the season. Let's preview tonight's tilt as the Devils look to move to 2-0-0. 

Another Good Spot for Jack Hughes

Jack Hughes was absolutely electric against the Red Wings, with two highlight-reel goals. Though the Coyotes appear to be an improved team, this should be another spot for Hughes to put on a show for the home crowd. 

The Coyotes did make some adds on the back end, signing Matt Dumba in free agency and acquiring Sean Durzi via a trade with the Los Angeles Kings, but I'm still not expecting them to be a good defensive team, even if they're improved.
